Vaccinations: All pets must be current on rabies vaccinations prior to receiving services.

No shows: No-shows and cancellations made without a 24-hour notice may be subject to a $45 fee per pet. These cancellations hurt our small business and take time away from other pets that could have been groomed.

Appointment time:  All appointments are subject to change dependent on traffic, accidents, breakdowns, weather, etc. Please expect that we may need to adjust your appointment time or day based on our route. Let us know if you have any limitations with your schedule.

Arrival: Owner must be home during the first visit so we can go over haircuts and services. Pet must be on a leash and brought outside by the owner at arrival.

Payment: Payment is taken at the end of the grooming session. Cash, checks, and all major credit cards are accepted. Let us know before the end of the groom if you would prefer a contactless payment so we can send you an online invoice.

Dematting: Brushing out mats and tangles can be a difficult and sometimes painful process for pets. The most humane form of dematting for your pet is always chosen even if that means shaving them down. Shaving mats out or brushing out light matting is subject to a fee of $90/hour

Shaving: Short coat or double coated dogs (Labradors, huskies, shepherds, etc) require their fur for insulation, temperature regulation, and protection from the sun. Shaving double coated dogs down damages their coats and can clog their hair follicles. It can also cause their hair to not grow back properly. Because of these risks, we do not shave down double coated dogs.

Senior dogs: Senior and geriatric dogs are handled with the utmost care. Please keep this in mind that older dogs have very special needs and certain parts of the grooming experience can be uncomfortable for them. We ensure that comfort is the #1 priority over anything else. Sometimes these grooms can take longer and the finished haircut may not be perfect.

We do not groom pets that are:
  • Sedated
  • Aggressive
  • Pregnant or nursing
  • Recently sprayed by a skunk
  • Infested with fleas, ticks, tapeworms, or heart worms (there is a $35 fee if fleas are found)
